I'm a Palestinian artist fighting to survive through my art. Every piece I create is a voice for those who can't speak. My work draws from grief, memory, and hope for a better future. Welcome to DRAZA — a project born from pain, dedicated to Gaza.
Drawn from pain. Drawn for Gaza.
My name is Ahmed, and I never imagined I would be introducing myself this way. My fate placed me far from war studying abroad, alone, while everything I love was burning behind me.
I'm not just an artist. I'm a voice from the ashes.
I've lost 66 members of my family, and 35 of my friends. Now I fight every single day to save what's left: my mother, my little angel Eileen, my father, and my brother, before it's too late.
We once had a life full of color, pride, and dignity. We laughed, we lived. But that world is gone. Now, I'm left with memories, grief, and one tool that still listens to me: my art. I never imagined I'd be in a place where survival depends on art… and on strangers with kind hearts.
I don't want to live as an orphan. And I hope this story doesn't end the way so many of ours have.
Welcome to DRAZA — Drawn from pain. Drawn for Gaza.
My name is Ahmed.
I'm a young Palestinian artist living abroad, and I feel ashamed that I was forced to ask for help here.
My family is still trapped in a war zone. We have lost 66 relatives and 35 friends. I am the only one outside who can provide for them — and for myself — after being left alone as a child.
I don't have connections. I don't have wealth. I don't have stability. But I have my art.
Medical Condition:
Progressive spinal curvature, degenerative disc disease, nerve compression, and chronic pain severely impact my daily life. I also face neurological concerns that require ongoing medical attention.
Drawing is the only thing I truly own. It's my voice… my strength… and the only path I have to support my family from afar.
I'm trying to turn my talent into something sustainable, but starting from zero in a foreign country is extremely difficult.
This is not about comfort. This is survival.
Your support will help me:
Every donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to building a future where my art becomes a lifeline — for me and for my family.
Thank you for believing in my story.
